This just happened out of the blue. I drove one place and 15 minutes later, I was unable to get out of the drivers side door. Used the passenger door for about 2 weeks waiting on a part. In the meantime the actual ignition stop turning as I would normally drive the car. I have had to physically use the mechanical key. I have replaced the CR2025 batteries and no change in the fob and ignition working as they use to. So I have a problem where the ignition will not turn at all. The wheel is not locked. In fact, when I turn the ignition the key fob is blinking. The fuel door button doesn't work, I have to open from the trunk manually. Trunk button works. I am wondering does the key fob need to be reprogrammed or do I need a new fob altogether. I just got new driver side door lock cables and that is fixed, but damn this technically advanced car!!
