20" Miro's lowered on H&Rs (in process)

Order a set of Miro 111 20x8.5 35 offset thinking they would bolt right up with no problem, not the case. After getting them I tried putting them on but the front wheels hit the caliper! So I ordered 10mm spacers, still hit the calipers. Shaved down the calipers a bit and put 15mm spacers on, just cleared the calipers but the studs are now too small to put the lug nut on, FML. So after searching everywhere, extended studs are not made for our cars. Custom studs are $80 each times 10 is $800!

After doing some further searching I finally found 15mm with studs attached. Just got the spacer in the mail today and H&Rs springs are on the way. Next step.. The stud thats on the hub that holds the spacers are too long so I will have to cut studs on the hub short enough (about 10mm to cut off) so they dont hit the rim.. Stay tuned

Need to think about the tire size too, might do a slight stretch but want to keep a smooth ride..

i hope you didn't cheap out on those spacer wheel adapters. cause you might get vibrations at high speed.

I recommend you sell those miro wheels and buy some wheels that fit from a place that guarantees fitment. and a place can prob d all the measuring to make your wheels wide enough to the way you like it too

Agreed. I also recommend you get an alignment as soon as you put your new wheels and tires on. The inside shoulders on your current tires are smoked.

+1. Extended studs are one thing. Permanently modifying your stock studs is completely different. I would bite the bullet and get different wheels.

Mission complete!

So for all who doubted and after months of determination they are on, and believe it or not its a smoother ride than the stock wheels. Continentals probably are a contributing factor too.

Looks great!! Have you installed the H&R springs yet? So what is the total offset now with spacers.
