My sales person infromed me that if i ever have a flat with the 06 run flat tires, it'll cost close to $4000.00 to replace all four tires plus the rims.
Is it true that the tires are attached or glues somehow to the rims?

:shakehead Your sales rep is ill-informed. Run flat tires have specially designed rims that are different from standard rims, but do not need to be replaced with the tire if you get a flat.

Not only that, Acura will replace the tire and the rim if they are unable to do the mounting and just charge you for the pro-rata usage of the rubber if it turns out to be a defect.(asuming you didnt damage the rim)
If its just a flat and they cannot unmount it, it will get sent to the Michelin dept (every major city has one) to get done.
Yes it can be an inconvienence, but in another year-more dealers that handle Mich tires will be able to service them, including Acura.
