very sharp. I am a big fan. Sorry - I had to make them smaller to fit on the average size monitor.

From atlantic:
"As you can see, I bought the A-Spec rims which are not the chrome ones. They are actually the gun-metal finish and they really (in my opinion) look good with the celestial silver. Also, you will notice that I extended the exhaust tips because they looked awful when I got the under spoilers installed. They were hidden but now I think they look good. Let me know what you think. I also got rid of the Acura badging and I moved the “RL” badge above the “ASPEC” badge."

Lookz real sharp ... CONGRATZ! Never knew the gun-metal finish was available ... Goes real well with that color. I also like the wooden interior accentz.

What needs to be done to extend the exhaust tips? They are partially hidden after the installation of the A-Spec kit and I agree that what you did looks MUCH better!

The tips have a screw on the top which can be removed. So what I did was take it to my local muffler shop and they removed them and then added small extensions and then they screwed them back on. Simple. Total cost was $30.00 and now it looks great.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like a no-brainer and the results are much better than what I have now!

The car looks nice and the color is a good choice. The steering wheel looks a little fatter then standard but maybe it is the angle.

Looks very nice. One of the best I have seen so far. I don't think they are gun-metal, but black chrome.

don't know where you get that from??? they look more like hyper black than black chrome, but not gunmetal. Btw that is the only part I don't really like about the car, just not my taste, but it looks good.

Looks fantastic Atlantic. Do you know whether the A-spec rims can be purchased separately from the A-spec kit, the cost of the rims alone and from what sources? Is this an Acura accessory available via dealerships? Also, I may have missed it but are those are 18" rims and if so what tires did you decide to go with.

hendjaz,

The A-Spec rims can definitely be purchased separately. My dealer did not even know they were available. I told them they were and then they had to order them for me. I got the rims for under $1400 and they ARE 18's.

As for the tires, I got the Avon Tech M550 A/S 245/45/ZR18's. So far, they are much quieter than the OEM's and the Dry traction is great. The car feels alot better with the 18" rims and tires. I highly recommend you upgrade to the 18" rims and tires.

How much under $1400, and did that include tax? That is a good price; cheapest I have seen them is $1575 tax included.

Just under $1400 with tax. If you want them, send me a PM and I will get you in contact with the seller.

I wonder why the emblems on your trunk are placed differently than mine and all others I have seen?
Normally there is an Acura badge in the top left corner. An RL badge in the top right corner. A-Spec bottom left. And SH-AWD bottom right.
I assumed that badge placement, other than the A-Spec were done at factory. Is this something you did yourself?

I believe he moved them himself. Personal preference. I am considering taking my badges off.

I did move them myself. I got rid of the ACURA badge and moved the RL badge down and placed it just above the A-SPEC badging.

Just personal preference and I feel it looks better.

Looks really good. Does your car have the A- spec suspension kit as well and if so, is that inch or so give you any problems with clearance?
