thanks!
yeah i took the photo and edited it a little. haha! a few people have actually called it the batmobile before. i accidentally burned one of my headlights in the oven and ended up ordering jdm headlights from jzs international in japan. i got a pair of used ones for $1300 shipped. and then i sold mine on ebay for about $400.

LOL I messaged the same guy eyi is mentioning in this thread. He doesn't put them up for sale on there but if you ask him he'll tell you he can get them for ~$1100 and like 200 extra for shipping. I can't afford that right now LOL. So thats why I'ma have to make the clear corners. I just need to stop being so lazy and take my ambers out.

i'm kinda glad i burned the headlights cause i always assumed the jdm headlights cost $2600. just e-mail taba at tabakyonjp@yahoo.co.jp. he told me i got the last pair but you never know. also, i wouldn't suggest taking out the amber yourself. i did successfully and it came out like this:
as someone mentioned to me, the chrome piece in there looks pretty tacky. i put it back in the oven to remove that piece, but it can't be removed. this is when i ended up grilling the headlight

Unfortunately without your stock parts you're very limited on selling not unless you sell it to someone who has any interest on mod cars. Also parting out the Mugen kit you will need a new front bumper. I was going to same thoughts the other day but with this economy I don't want any car payments. I'm sure if you decide on selling your car put a feeler ad in the FS section and see if you get any bite. Good luck How long have you own your RL? I still love mine and enjoy driving it on a good day.

I would guess $25k, maybe $30k if you are lucky.

the sad reality is that car mods add practically NO value to a car and in many cases make them HARDER to sell.
A prior car of mine had about $10k in aftermarket parts. it was very very cool. I only sold it beause I was simply bored of it. It ran perfect, looked awesome, and was really nice. I sold it and *maybe* got a grand or two more htan a similar bone stock model....
if you really want to make up money, you need stock parts to put back on, and then sell the aftermarket parts. expect to get maybe 50% of retail for the used parts at most.
find people with RLs that want yoru parts, and sell them your aftermarket parts, and make them trade you their OEM parts as part of the deal. at least that way you can get some money back from all those parts...then try to sell your car as close to stock as you can.
the body kit may be hard as it's not somethig you can just unbolt... but stuff like suspension, exhaust, headlights, etjc.. .that all can come out and be swapped with OEM stuff.
I"m sure you could easily sell all that stuff and recoup some money.
having owned a nicely modded car and sold it too soon... my advice is keep your RL a while longer. you put a lot of money into it.. it's still VERY nice....and will turn heads a while longer! You would be doing yourself a big financial favor to WAIT on selling it. Keep it a few more years. Enjoy it the way it is and and get your money's worth out of the mods.
Is your car paid off? if not, get it paid off, drive it a while with ZERO payments... sell it later.
if you buy another car, you'll want to mod THAT car and you'll be doing down the same mod road all over again... which is $$$$.
I say keep the RL!

I say let's trade wheels. I'll give you OEMs, you give me the Works, and I'll pay for both shipping costs.
