Can u do a short write up about ur fog light mod. I think it was Heavy who did a detailed explanation on that if I remember correctly but still looked complicated. I hope this was as simple as on the TL.

If you can't follow a schematic, I don't suggest attempting it. Some day I will build 10 or so of them, but that continually get's pushed back.

The post is confusing because I prove the theory of why it works. All you really need to take away is the schematic and trust that it does indeed work.

As for the RL in this thread, he said he simply tied the parking lights to the fog lights. A wire with two wire taps is all that is needed to do that for each bulb. Find the 12V parking light wire, tap it. Find the 12V fog light wire, tap it with the other end. Viola!

Easy I wired the hid box straight into the wires from The corner lights basically two wires come out the hid box.. U ground the black wire to the chassis.. Then the corner light harness has 3 wires one ground one signal light and the one when the orange stays on.. Find the signal for the one that says on n wire the red on to it and ur done.. U have to do it to both sides.. So my fogs turn on when I turn on my Corner lights

His fogs are on when the parking lights are on which are on with the lows. But he can have them on with just the parking lights.

I'll attempt the TL way if I succeed, I'll post it here. That way u can turn on/off the fog independent of the parking lights and lows. I just need to find the wires that goes to n comes from the fog light ring switch on the handle left of the steering.

Good luck. I am very interested as this was the first route I tried. The wiring diagram is pretty convoluted. You'll want page 44 for Canadian models.

The wiring diagram. It's part of the service manual.

If you could do this without one,

OP, sorry for the thread .

nice!! Makes me wish I didn't cheap out with H&R springs, lol, but I couldn't justify the $1500 difference for, what I assumed was, half an inch more drop. That and I blew most of my budget on wheels... But anyways, that drop looks great with the collars removed, There may be some Teins in my future after all. I'll be looking forward to where this goes!

Is the tow hook so you can move the car after it bottoms out and cracks the oil pan?

Now that's thinking ahead!

depending on how their setup...they may grind down the threads when the springs rub against the threads.
