Sweet lookin' ride! I actually e-mailed OEMwheelsplus.com about the m3 wheels and they directed me to this thread. I have the same color RL and cant decide between the m6 or m3 style wheels... Also, would it be better to run all of the wheels the same size rather than staggered?

I actually bought the m5 ones a month ago and asked if they would sell me 4 fronts. They did no problem. I am local to them so I just picked them up. I really like these but couldn't go staggered because a drive a lot and want to be able to rotate my tires.

Guss thanks for being the first to try their wheels out!

Go all arround with same size. You will take off the hustle of finding or matching tire size. Im thinking going all arround soon with 19x8.5
Offset 35.

Cars clean, sexy simple, and it looks real sporty. Love the rims. Take your time and save for the Mugen Kit, your car would look awesome. The down side is, where the heck are you going to get a honda V8 LOL

hub rings are like 13 bucks shipped from amazon.

Dude, your ride looks great! Seriously great. Congrats! I love the look...I was almost going to buy some 19" G37 wheels for my 3G TL, but opted for some work wheels. Very happy too! Take care,
J.

is there a solution you think I just ordered a set of these wheels myself... I mean I don't really mind that much cause I deal with my drl light....did you even attempt to use the factory or aftermarket and they didn't fit, or you just didnt want to deal with it....?

No didn't even take them out of stocks rims and wheels.
For me, i thought it wouldn't make a difference and i dont care about tpms system, but after 7 months with the wheels , i almost anowing with this warning TPMS Sensor System Check.

Did you order 8.5 all arround rims.? If you drive too much you will be able to rorate better your tires.

How do you move the stock tpms sensors? Easy to remove or not? If I got a set of these wheels I want tpms to work

any updates on your car gus?

tinted it yet?? that would be the least expensive "mod" and would make your car looks TONS nicer! dark windows look good on the RL!

lip kit? spoiler?

my car is the same color as yours...so I just look at pics of your car to get an idea as to what mine would look like if I lowered it and added those wheels. I already ahve tint and hte rear spoiler...but wheels/suspension is all stock...

i'm selling my porsche...if/when it actually sells...i may pull some of the $$ from that and pickup these wheels and some springs. not sure if i'll do just H&Rs or H&Rs on aspec, or the whole aspec setup.... but I think these wheels are large enough that the body kit woudl really help it out...the wheels are big and the extra "girth" of the body kit balances it all out and makes the car look more agressive.

yours woudl then look like popppintecs only in gray.

if Acura had made the RL like THIS from teh factory...wtih the aspec kit, slightly lower, and more aggressive wheels..it would have sold so much better.... it actually looks GOOD. I'm sure the average person who pays NO attention to an RL and thinks of it as a "boring" car. would do a double take of gus or poppintec's car and actually thing "wow" that looks nice.

good work guys.

Thanks 23109VC.

I have a 35% tint on my car, but they didn't came out
as dark as I was expecting.
I agree with you. If "RL" would came with A-Spec Kit it probably sell better than the TL.

Everywhere I go, there 's someone who complement the car's looks. I took a summer vacation with Family on June
that kept me from buying the A-Spec Kit. I'm very please with poppintec's car. I love it!! Can't wait to put A-Spec. Blazing 's RL its great looking. You can go with H&R Sport springs and A-Spec kit.

Lately,I was looking into 2007 TL type-S, I miss the feel of having Manual Transmision, but when i compare the looks and TL vs RL... my old RL still wins it. Another car that
keep me turning my head is the G8 GXP 6Spd.
But the G8's lack of interior, missing GPS, another features
doesn't support their Price $$$.

Gus-

I looked at the G8a too! not the GXP...just the GT, I even test drove one. it would blow the doors off the RL, but it's no comparison in the luxury dept. I ALSO really thought hard about a TL-S.... I really like that car and was soooooooooooooo close to getting one. sometimes I still wish I had the TL-S instead of the RL, but the RL is a much more luxurious car and enough bigger that when I have all the kids in back, I'm glad I have a larger car.
I've also become VERY impressed with the SH-AWD... I think an RL ilke ours, with the right wheels/tires/suspension woudl very likely outhandle a TL-S. htey are faster and more stiff stock... but it lacks AWD... when you really pusht hem they understeer..

the new TL SH-AWD with a manual woudl probably ber what I would want if I had to sell both my RL and my porsche.... that new TL has grown on me. White diamon pearl, with 19s and the OEM bodykit, spoiler, tint... HOT!

if you get new pics of your car, post them!

did you get rid of those mugen stickers??

Has anyone gotten the M6 style 20's? The cost difference including wheels/tires is not that much more than the 19's. I'd be curious to see what other's think.

would that +35 offset still work and with the recommended tire size being 255/35ZR20 i don't think that's too much of a suspension tradeoff either.

I live in Michigan with allot of pot holes. Will the 18" version of your wheels work and if so what size tire and rim width should I go with? I do not want to stagger the wheels.

gus - any update on your ride? added aspec yet? more pics?

how are the wheels doing? still look good and no bends/dents/etc?

I called the guys at OEMwheelsplus and they do NOT have your style wheel in stock.. they ahe the ones with the black machined background..but I don't think those would look good... the all silver like yours and poppintecs would look teh best.. at least IMHO....

any updates or new pics!?!?!
