installed JDM Nokya hyper yellow fog lights. i was hoping the 5000K HID bulbs would be more white and less blue, but it's all good

 

I have the same fogs too. But I feel like the yellowness washes out once the distance increases to a point that it seems almost stock yellow. I'm planning on putting some 3000K HIDs in there instead.

 

visiting the RL photo gallery makes me sad

nice car... i think next mod you should work on is the engine covers and your grill... i know the engine covers are black already but maybe nicer look would be awesome...
and the grill he black would def look btr...

i don't think i'll really mind when they turn less yellow. i thought about doing 3000k hids too, but it's hard to get a true yellow. some kits actually look white/blue and light up yellow on the ground. and i'm not a big fan of yellow overlays. these bulbs seem pretty solid though!

thanks. what do you suggest i do to the engine covers? i agree the grill would look nice black, but i can't change it because the cmbs emblem is grey. it would look funny.

i have to say looking at this thread and your car, you have inspired me to mod mine now which i didnt want to do beside only doing rims, tint, brakes. now you are convincing me to get the body kit which im not that big of a fan, until looking at your car and being that mine is the same color makes me want to do the modding.

when you have the 6k hid fogs, did you need a relay? also you can use the 3k hid bulbs on the same ballast.

where did you get your intake from, is that for a tl?

 

With the setup he had for fog HIDs, there is no external relay needed. The relay is included in the ballast and is plug and play from the stock wiring. The ballast takes the signal from the H11 socket and turns on the HIDs accordingly.

I know b/c I have his setup now.
