for traffic and $77 for Xm. I cancelled. I asked them could i put my xm (rl) on my sirius acct as extra radio. they said not able too, yet.. I do not think Xm is worth it.

 

This is the best deal available. It beats $140 a year for XM alone. I'm surprised that they wouldn't let you add your XM radio to your Sirius account, though.

 

Integration of IT systems from two different companies...really difficult. Does not surprise me, but you would think they would have made an accommodation for this. There is always a workaround until you can get the integrated system in place, even if it is manual.

 

I am a customer of Sirius and XM, I have Sirius in my work vehicle and XM in the RL. I called up Sirius and asked if I could get the discount they give on a second radio and they said it is not possible and they were sorry. Even though the two companies have merged, they are still two separate entities and would remain that way for the time being, so that is why you can't combine the two.

 

My XM expired a few weeks ago. For the first call is was list price all the way. Last week I got a mailer offering $4.99/mo for 6 months and then a follow-up call. I renewed but said I would pay by check only which raised the price by $2. It renews automatically at current price in 6 months but you can cancel at any time.
