XM and Starbucks

XM and Starbucks end their relationship. Too bad, it was my favorite channel.

Is the channel gone completely or just SBUX name? I enjoyed their live performances.

I read a press release that channel 45 (SBUX) will remain the same for a while, but at some point it will be pulled. I assume they will still use the channel, but with different format.
It was one of the few channels that doesn't constantly repeat the same songs. The play list on the other channels I have listened to are not very big.
By the way, XM had to give Starbucks $22M in stock to end the partnership.

and more stock or cash if XM stock values continue to slide. The hard number is $22M

So, XM ended the relationship? I wonder if that had to be done to get the possible merger to move fwd - Sirius' request?
