XM Renewal After 1st Year
I'm 4-5 days away from the one year anniversary of my 2005 RL and the one year free subscription to XM. I have not heard from XM yet by mail or phone. Should I have by now (I would think so)?
I want to renew and I have read the threads here about the $77 renewal. I would rather not have any gap in my subscription. Has anyone had any luck getting the $77 rate without waiting for their subscription to expire?
What should I do now? Wait to hear from XM or should I call them?

Right after posting my original message something occurred to me. Last October (10/10/2005) I had my RL in for service and, among other things, they replaced my XM receiver to deal with the delay problem. I noticed after that that I had a new radio ID code - not the original code from when I bought the car in March, 2005.
Is it possible that when they put in the new XM receiver with the new ID code I got a one-year extension on my free year? That would explain why I haven't heard from XM about renewing.
