usb adapters UI and formats

I bought a Grom adapter for my 05 rl and not very happy with it.
cant tell if its normal or I got a defective unit

I have my music in folders by genre in main directory about 20 folders
then each directory has subfolders by artist and each artist has subfolders by album. 3 subdirectories max

I read the instructions on grom how to set it up btw
when I try to skip to next folder it skips most of them don't even show up
and its pretty much impossible to navigate to a track or even album you want

I want some quick reviews of your your usb adapter user interface and how you like it and how is the browsing on it

also besides Grom have you tried playing FLAC on your unit like usa spec or ebay adapter?
they don't list FLAC support but I'm wondering if its there anyway just not listed

Are you using your phone/mp3 player to navigate songs/folders or are you using the car controls?

I have the Grom Bluetooth box & I don't have any issues.
