Is there a way to shut up the nav while in motion

I've noticed that while the car is moving, if i scroll over playlists, my audio is muted and the nav reads the name for me.

It seemed like a neat feature at first but now its rather annoying. I know its an attempt to allow you to pay more attention to the road, but i'm usually not in traffic when im tinkering with it.

Is there a way to turn this option off so that i can scroll through music or the menu screens without her trying to tell me everything?

i've tried searching as i assumed this question has been asked before but didn't have much luck after a number of different keywords.

Setup-Volume-Off; at least in the RL, that's how you can get rid of it.

Actually, we were both wrong, although turning volume to off would stop the feedback, but it will turn off navi prompts as well.
In setup, there are 3 controls surrounding the voice feedback:
Volume - off to max volume
Interface Dial Feedback - off, auto, max (or something close to that)
Navi Prompts - min to max

I believe OP wants to turn off Interface Dial Feedback

Yep, interface feedback is the one you want to turn off. It drove me crazy too.

Seriously, I applaud Acura/Honda's attempt to make this car so automated, but really, who needs or wants their radio stations or playlists read to them in a female robotic voice? haha

I find the female voice satisfying and makes it feel like you are not alone in the vehicle in long trips.

Heh heh heh! I love her, too, but I'm alarmed she's been spending time with you. It was supposed to be exclusive.

Her voice brings to mind a hairy husky eastern European Olympic athlete laced in leather. Not as sensual as in my other car. But hey, whatever turns people on.
