Subwoofer Rattle
Subwoofer Rattle
Anyone have or had this issue? I honestly can't tell if the sub is on it's way out or if something is just rattling.
Thought about just buying a new Bose subwoofer, but I have no idea how involved it is to access the sub.

I've had a minor rattle with songs that are heavy on bass. Then again, I have the bass setting on max. It honestly don't really notice it often enough to try and address it. I was reading over on the TLX side that they have a severe case of the bass rattles. Their solution was to stuff a piece of foam between the rear deck and the metal below.
Just noticed this today myself. If the station is set to a higher bass, its more pronounced. My bass was normally just above half way. i reduced it to half way.. its better, but there sure is a rattle.. I first thought something's lose, or some coin fell back there, but there's nothing; its from within the sub-woofer.
