Spoken Phone Number Dialing

Spoken Phone Number Dialing
I know I can speak a phone number using OnStar, but does anyone know how to do it with a bluetooth enabled phone? I'd rather not have to add seldom used numbers to the phonebook. I know I can dial the number on my phone and transfer it to the car, but would prefer not having to touch the phone.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yes, push the talk button (for the handsfreelink) and say "dial 888 888 8888" (of course replace the 8's with the number you want to dial). Sometimes it won't be able to recognize the number properly, so you can breakup the numbers, e.g. push button and say "dial 888" then it will ask to dial or enter more numbers... push the button and say the next set of numbers, and so on. When it has the number on the MID, push the talk button and say dial.

The other day I forgot to say "DIAL" and just said "888 8888" and was surprised when it prompted me back with the phone # and asked me if I wanted to call it, just as if I'd included the "DIAL".
Also, if you are calling an IVR like a voice mail system you can interact with it by using the command "SAY":
Example from my office VM system
<IVR connects and answers>
"SAY pound"
<IVR asks for VM mailbox #>
"SAY 5551234>
<IVR asks for VM password>
"SAY 123456"
etc.
I think the RL's HFL voice recognition system works very well and have been happy with it; it has exceeded my expectations.
