So I actually searched first...
before anyone flames me... 
I know the 05 RL is not compatible with the OEM backup cam, but has anyone done an aftermarket backup cam install? If so, what brand worked well?

I'm using the same camera in the DIY and highly recommend it. Regardless of what they say, the hardest part was "fishing" the BU camera wire through the trunk lid and down the hinge arm.
Was well worth the effort, money and time. Good luck.
