Ok, I'll prefeace my post with this: I'll admit that I'm not much of a DIY-er. I had a bad experience installing an HID kit on my beloved 95 Legend LS coupe, and have since just paid professionals to do my installs for me.

I know there's been a lot of discussion about Ipod integration and that the USASpec unit is the best. What I'm a little confused about is how long does it actually take to install? I saw some posts saying it's quite a complicated and time-consuming install and others say it can be done quite quickly...since I'll be paying a professional to do this properly for me, I'd just like to know approx how long it should take and if there are any special instructions I should give them...

I did it just last weekend. It took me about two hours to get the head unit pulled out the new cables routed and then buttoned back up. I'd expect a professional could do it in ~45 minutes
