i am looking at new phones will the a990 work perfect with 2005 rl. tell me if you have one,and about it... thanks

 

I had the samsung scha-990 for about a week, and it worked great. I had to switch phones to a LG vx5300 though because I travel a lot to some remote areas in eastern Pennsylvania, and I needed a tri-mode phone. I previously had a motorola v710 which also worked fine with the '05 rl. I found with the samsung, I was dropping calls more, or couldn't get a signal when I had one with the v710. If you live in an area with a lot of digital towers, the samsung should work good.
