Reset Nav System?

Loaded ver. 4.55 nav disc in my '05 RL which originally had v. 4.13 - worked fine. I now want to reload the v. 4.13 back into the car but it will not accept - indicates "DVD Reading Error. Incorrect DVD." Apparently new files downloaded from 4.55 disc.

Is there a procedure to reset system in order to accept older (4.13) version?

Thanks.

If you go into the RL's diagnostic menu (Press the "Map", "Menu", and "Cancel" buttons simultaneously for a few seconds until it pops up) you can completely reload the Nav software. When the diagnostic menu comes up, select "Version" and then "Download" - that will force a reload of the navigation software. I believe that's how the dealer rolls back to a previous version.

That did it - thanks for the help!

Disc came from another vehicle - wanted to make sure that version loaded properly on the 2005. And it did.
