My friend with an 05 RL is experiencing something strange with key fob #2. He's had the car almost 3 years and in that time has never had to replace the battery in fob #1 (which is used probably 75% of the time with the car), but fob #2 that his wife uses when she drives the car is now on its second battery since he bought the car. Now it's already showing up again as battery low on the MID maybe 5 or 6 months since the last set went in. Fob #2 batteries were checked with a voltmeter and they are fine.
