This evening, I backed out of my parking space at the Metro garage and drove off. For some reason, the backup camera view stayed on as I drove out of the garage and down the street. At a traffic light, I shifted into park and then back to drive but it still stayed on. It only went off after I shifted into reverse, left it there a couple of seconds, and then shifted to drive. Not sure why this happened, but it was pretty cool!

 

That happened to me once as well Meteor. I just hit the Audio button and the Map and it was back on track. I have noticed if you shift into Reverse before the Navi fully boots up, there is a delay on the camera displaying. But since I back into my garage and the garage at work, I rarely have an issue as I am not Reversing on start up.

Funny thing is, as much as I appreciate the backup cam, I cannot seem to trust it. I back up, with my usual judgement, then I peek in the display and think 'Man, the QE2 can manuever with all that room!".
