did you actually see a cop aiming a laser gun following all those alerts?

You'll have your errant Laser Guided cruise control here or there that it picks up and I never see a cop. That probably happens twice a year besides the cops shooting laser that I slow down for.

I had sun set off the laser alert couple times but never cruise controlled vehicles. Then again, nobody tails me long enough.

Didn't know sun could set it off so maybe it's been that a few times too. I've never had anyone tailing me with their laser guided cruise control it's always been on the freeway with people passing the other side, usually Infiniti's.

the other side...mine never went off with anyone from the other side. My only times I've pretty much confirmed a cruise control was with BMW's. Seemed to drive my X50 nuts. I've used to make multiple passes each way to confirm each one.

Question Veil G4

Has anyone had any experience with this product with a 9500ix? It is supposed to give you a couple hundred feet of warning if "lasered" to slow down.

I wish you asked that question yesterday. I was following my brother who's got the X50 for 2 hours today except I was never on cruise control...

I guess I should try it out some other time.

I have never seen another CMBS on the road since I bought the car in Jan of 09.

can tell you one thing, it doesn't set the detector off when I am the one using it. Technically the beam would bounce back from the vehicles in front of me.

Will test it out the next time I caravan with my brother.
