Problem with Nav screen

The nav screen on my car only stays on for a while, when I start driving and hit a small road bump it goes away and I get a message saying to contact the dealer. Has anyone had this problem? There are no scratches on the disc and it is the 2010 nav disc.

The actual message on the screen is, "Problem reading DVD disc, please consult dealer." Anyone? Any suggestions?

Yes, I took it out to make sure there were no scratches on the disc. There were none, cleaned it anyway, put it back in and still the same problem. I took it out again, and tried reinstalling the original nav dvd. The problem is that when I installed the 2010 nav dvd, I had to do an update for the nav to recognize the new disc. So now it no longer recognizes the old disc. I don't want to take it to the dealer because I know they're probably gonna say that I need a new system or something like that. I wouldn't mind getting the 2011 nav dvd and installing it, if I knew 100% for sure that it would work no problems.
