Palm Treo 650 (OEM Version)

Anyone have have an original, unbranded (Sprint, Cingular, or AT&T), OEM Palm Treo 650 that works flawlessly with their RL? If so, what firmware version is it and does it support Bluetooth DUN). I'm on the verge of getting one...and need to know.

Probably not going to have much luck in the RL forum, but I might suggest asking this in the 3G TL forum over here: https://acurazine.com/forums/acurazine-articles-2/

Mine is Cingular branded, still locked to CIngular GSM, but using ROW (rest of world) unlocked GSM f/w version 1.23. I am about to "upgrade" to the latest f/w-check out www.treocentral.com for more info. It works, but not flawlessly-there is no display for signal strength or battery level, and I still get occasional random resets when I make an outbound call. I have heard comments that the newer firmware makes incremental improvements to the BT and HF functions, but I have not been able to verify that yet.

UPDATE: I upgraded my Cingular Treo 650 with the latest ROW (rest of world) software/firmware (versions 1.14 and 1.51, respectively) last night. This software/firmware is very close to the recent Cingular v1.17 firmware recently posted on the Palm web site (http://palm.com/us/support/downloads.../cingular.html). I now see signal strength along with the antenna icon that has always been there. I will report back on how the new SW/FW combo works with the RL after I live with it for a week or so, but so far, so good. :-)
