I just picked up a new JL amp and subwoofer from my cousin. I miss the deeper lows that I used to have w/ my old system and am looking to add this sub to my car.

Has anyone else added an additional sub to their RL? I'm thinking that the existing sub in the rear deck should be disconnected and have that signal going to the newer sub....that way, I can actually control the sub through the radio subwoofer input.

Please advise on how you went about your setup....

I was told:

1. Connect the power wires to amp
2. Need some sort of device behind the radio to get some RCA outputs ($25 or so)


Another thread mentioned that the Active Noise Cancellation feature could get a bit wacky w/ the new subwoofer...is this true? If so, how do you remedy that?
