Hi everyone,
I have a 05 RL I was wondering if I were to type an address of an area that is just being built this year 2007-2008 will my navigation system be able to give me directions to this new area?
I'm thinking no, correct?
If the answer is NO, then how does someone with an 05, 06 or even an 07 navigation system update their software to an what the 08 software uses?
Do you have to buy the DVD's from Acura or is there something better you can (cheaper)?

You have to buy a new DVD from Acura (actually, it's Alpine, their navi contractor) yearly in the fall. The current release is delayed because the initial discs released caused problems with 2005 RLs. It is only available to dealers now, but is reported to be available at the end of this month for all takers.
