navigation questions

Hey guys new to the forum here, but not. new to the Acura/Honda world. I have had either an Acura or a Honda in my garage since I was 18. I recently bought my wife a 2006new Acura RL and the navi system seems to be a little outdated since the area we live in is exploding. Could I get a little insight as to how to update the disc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys blake

Or check eBay for recent (but probably not the most current) disks.

I would first see what version you have
Then check the site posted above to see what updates have been made since then.
Then decide if you want to spend the money on a used disc or a new disc.

Rinse and repeat.

Why make two posts asking the exact same question before doing a search? Really?

Find out which version you have, so you can figure out which disc(s) are necessary for the upgrade. Several of us here on the board have update discs that are one or more versions older than what we're using, but likely newer than yours. On that website, you can also see what the updates "did" in your area, btw.

Fine. I would have been helpful if he had not created two posts.

technically there were two threads and a post, so 3... but none the less thats what keeps the mods employed.
