Navigation Dial Rattle

Well, with my recent exhaust and CAI upgrades the dial on my Navigation system now rattles like crazy below 2000 RPM's in 5th. Any ideas on how to cure the rattle? Thanks for the help!

No...but I've noticed the 'hum/vibration' that the engine gives off around 1500rpm in 5th... so I can only imagine what it must be like with those pipes.

Felt tape has served me well with my creaks and rattles, but I don't see how you could get it in around the Nav Dial.

Let us know if you figure it out!

More info on your upgrades please. Is the CAI a DIY design?

Itsounds like it is a freqency that your exhaust is noe putting out. You would probably have to put the exhaust back to get rid of it.

I have pics up in this thread:

My RL

It's the TL CAI modified with a special bracket created by Touge on these forums.

Well, tore into the center console today to try and fix this problem. Ironically, the problem was caused by a dime that had been wedged into the "this is not an ashtray". It somehow got between two plastic pieces. Tested it out in 5th with the low rumble and no issues at all.
