..ok give up. Can't find a complaint on display colors from the monitor. My '06 RL has options for red screens with pink fonts and royal blue menu screens with baby blue fonts. These are hard to read and extremely unattractive. Is it just me? Is there an updtae available? My dealer loaner '08 TL did not have these bad choices available but it was touch screen and dated. Is there a fix??

 

That sounds weird. My screen for menu choices is shades of gray with black font, and blue cursor highlights. The background is a dark gray, the boxes which are your "buttons" such as Cancel Current Route, are light gray, with black fonts. If you select that button for action, it is surrounded by a blue lines.

The older TLs had a touch screen. Do not know about 08's.

 

oh I was actually referring to the setup menu for colors on day/night vs map/menu. Here u are given choices of grays (as you've mentioned) as well as brown blue and red. Its the blue and red that appear unusable.
