NAV Volume Issue

I posted a similar issue in November and nobody responded. Since I'm taking the car in for service on Friday, I'll try again just to see if anyone has seen anything similar (perhaps it's a quick fix):

When I use the Nav system, regardless of where the volume is set in the setup screen (I have it set between the midpoint and max), the voice volume is very low, barely audible, perhaps one click above off. If I go into setup and move the volume (any direction, any amount...i.e. 1 click up or down), then, exit setup to the map and immediately go back into setup and adjust the volume back to where it was, it works fine.

Anyone?

that seems odd....I haven't experienced that issue, although I think the overall nav voice is a little low when music is turned up loud or the music isn't muted enough.

Judging from the response, nobody seems to either have had this problem or nobody cares...or both. But, I did take the car in. The service writer scratched his head, the head technician scratched his head and said "you're leaving the car, right? We need to call California on this one." That was last Friday. Picked up the car today (dropping off the '09 MDX loaner) with a new navigation system (warranty). Working fine and sitting inside the new navigation system is a new 4.81a disk! Beats the 4.31 I left behind!

I think nobody had the problem as most people chime up when they can relate to problem
glad to hear good results
