I got in my car today and noticed that the NAV Traffic was not working. I also noticed that when I went to zoom in or out, that the word "Traffic" was not there as it always is, and that the traffic icon was blacked out so that I could not access it. XM account was fine, and refreshing did not work. Anyone else having that problem?

 

Same thing happened to me. It was working at around 6:00, but when I got back in my car at 7:00 it wasn't. When I went out to the car at 8:30 it was working again.

 

I had the exact same problem. The issue was not with the XM recieved, but that I lost permissions to the NavTraffic feature

I called XM and had them retransmit my subscription info and it worked fine after that.

FYI.... I heard that you can retansmit account info directly from the web site without having to contact XM

or sometimes it goes out and comes back just because XM can suck at times.
Last night I didn't have it, and I called, and they couldn't even tell me if the service was out in the area or not. They reset my radio and still out. I'm 90% sure it's the XM nav traffic in the area is out here.

 

Make sure that you have traffic info displayed in your icon display section. It's in the same section where you choose whether or not to display icons like gas stations, restaurants & such. If traffic icons are turned off, you won't see ANY NavTraffic stuff at all. Had this happen to me after a service once. Not sure what could cause it to happen spontaneously.
