Microsoft Zune
Microsoft Zune
New User here (great forums!) and I wanted to know if anybody has been able to directly wire their Micorsoft Zune to an 05 RL with Navi. I believe the jack is the same as the Ipod, so does that mean the dealer could install the jack retrograde for MP3 players?
Before you ask, I like the Zune over the Ipod for screen size, price, ease of use the MSOS and cheaper extended warranty.

I cannot tell if the Zune has the same ipod plug, though I would guess not since these types of plugs are generally proprietary. Ever try to dock a Dell Laptop in an HP dock?
However, all have the obligatory 1/4 inch (3.5mm) headphone jack. There are several hardwire solutions for that. You plug the hardwire unit into the back of the head unit and it goes into a box which has RCA L and R outs. Plug a RCA to 3.5 mm stereo (make sure of that) and you have your connection.
For example, USASpec has an iPod connector plus and aux out or just aux out adaptors

Neo Audio has the same
