Does anyone know where the handsfree bluetooth module is located in the 2005 RL? Would it be easy to remove or disconect?

I saw you other posts regarding HFL problems. If you can reboot your phone, that is the first thing to try before attempting to replace BT module.

The right front kickplate is the passnger side footwell, the plastic panel to the right, just forward of the door opening.

How old is the battery? If the car was completely dead, you need to drive atleast 30-35 min to fully charge the battery. Also get your alternator checked.

The battery is only a month n a half old the battery worked for at least a week before it drained from sitting just like it did with the old battery

so it might be your hfl module. I think it's under right passenger kick panel. Are your door handles (outside) lock/unlock working?

I think it should be there, because our cars are almost same as the American versions with some extra features.
