Keyless remote question

Does anyone know if there is a certain combination of buttons that can be pushed on the remote that will open all windows, and possibly the sun roof? I have heard mention of this, but am afraid to try it for fear of erasing all my presets!

Thanks for any help with this!

Press and HOLD the unlock button on the fob. That will open the windows and sunroof to vent off the car before you enter. It is a common feature on most Hondas now.

I read somewhere that the fob can be programmed to also close the windows & sunroof with the fob. I assume it is defaulted not to do so for safety concerns.

did not work for me!

I tried holding down the unlock as described, and no go! Anyone have any different ideas? Remember, we're talking about an 05 here.

Thanks for your response!

I did not explain correctly.

1) Press the UNLOCK button and release. <doors unlock>

2) Press and HOLD the UNLOCK button again.

The windows and sunroof should open.

I am not aware of any difference in the function from the 05 to my 06 RL.

The only way I know to close 'em back up is to use the physical key in the door. Don't remember if you twist right or left and hold but one way is down/open and the other is up/close.

Yes, key action in door (2006) is; turn left once = doors unlock, turn second time windows+roof open. Turn right once = doors lock and second turn closes windows+roof.

Sorry to wake this up form the dead but I'd rather do this then start a new thread on the same issue.

I am trying to get this feature to work with no luck. Is there a way to turn this on or off like a switch or possibly a bad fuse?

Dead issue...I found the resolution right after I posted this.

I basically followed the window reset procedure and this took care of it. I realized I couldnt control the rear windows from the driver seat panel. Resetting all windows took care of the rear windows as well as the key fob issue.

Man I love this car...

So why would you rather wake up the old thread and then start a new one?

Because it was an issue I was having and the resolution was not in this thread. I could be wrong but it makes more sense to post in this thread instead of making a new one saying the same thing. Like I posted in a thread that followed, I found the resolution and even posted what I did to resolve this as to have have this opened again.

So it was "than" a new one and not "then" a new one?

I loathe the day this forum degrades to the quality of posts that 3G TL experiences.
