Just curious if anyone on the board is using the JBL MS-8 Processor. Ive heard great things about it in other forums. Just curious on how it performs in the RL.

Were you able to still use your audio controls. Bass Treble Ect?

Any installation tips for installing the unit for future buyers of this product?

I dont use the JBL unit i have simple MTX REQ5 unit that is a dumb version of the JBL you are suggesting and i am able to still maintain all OEM controls (bass, fade, sub controller, etc). As long as you are wired properly you should be maintaining all OEM features as this is kind of what all these interfaces were going for when they were being developed.

Ill be ripping my entire system and out and starting from scratch (just cause) if your interested in the REQ5 which has proven to work for me let me know ill unload it on the cheap as well as any other parts you may be needing for your integration, as im losing all amps and subs as well.

 

Try PM'ing member "I hate cars" as he has been using an MS8 and toying around with his system quite a bit in his TL.

From what he posted, it gives you a much better sounding system with it's self tuning systems (85-90%) there, but that last 10% is a challenge to get as you must learn quite a bit about audio to fiddle with the whole system.

If you do get it, I say it's a great choice and the Logic 7 system/processing is amazing!
