I went to a dealer yesterday and none of the 06 models had the IPOD integration. I was told that it was going to be standard on models made after January. A "retrofit" kit would be available after December to current 06 owners.

Does anyone have an 06 RL with the integration already installed?

Any difference between the 06 and 05 electronics that would prohibit this kit from being used on an 05?

 

I havn't read of anybody who has the ipod adapter yet. There are probably differences in electronics that will prohibit it from being installed on an 05. We already had a couple members try to use the rear view cam kit that is available on the 06 - but they were unable to do so.

 

Does anyone here have the electrical manual for the RL? I am considering ordering it to look at the issues reative to iPod and rear camera integration. BTW, the 05-06 RL service manual is now available at helminc.com-if only I had waited a few weeks! :-(
