Importing Contacts into HFL:
Hello all,
On the NAVI system you can import Phone Contacts. The issue seems to be a standard Acura committed to for Bluetooth NAP. I can't get my MotoQ to sync up the list at all. Get an error due to protocol issues. SO, I wanted to go another route maybe with the computer.
Anyone know a way to import your contacts into the HFL so it displays on the screen? Maybe through another non-phone device? Any hacks out there?

The 06 RL does not have this option. However, it might be possible via hacking. If you open the door of the Navi DVD unit in the trunk, you will find that it has a PCCard slot. I put a compact flash card into a PCCard adapter, inserted that into the slot and used one of the diagnostic/developer menus on the Navi display to save or dump the information (it's been a few months since I did this, don't remember the exact menu). This created several files, one of which has a lot of personal information stored, such as saved and previous destinations, audio disc information, stored date reminders. I don't recall if there was any HFL information in there. So it looks like the hardware is capable, if the software could be modified.
