The only thing to remember is you might have to turn it off for both Key fobs.

Has anyone been able to get it to remain off? I have to turn it off every time I start up. Not very hard, but annoying nonetheless.

hey carbon, has these settings remain for you or is it like oo7spy, that you have to redo the step every time you turn on the car?

Maybe a change due to MY? NHBRL, try it and see if it sticks. If it does, this is definitely the easiest route to go. Mine always said, "ANC ON" when I started the car.

Disconnect the ANC module harness from the Bose amp in the trunk.

Why do you want to disable ANC? When I cover the front mic with my finger there is a very noticeable hum that I assume is road noise and that the ANC system was developed to cover. If something has happened to cause a burp or 50 hertz hum why is it not possible to address that issue? Too expensive? I already think the car is too loud on the road. Doesn't disabling the ANC system just make it that much louder?

If you have a aftermarket subwoofer it will make a humming sound. so by disabling the ANC it prevents the 50hz hum

To disable you have to disconnect either the mics or the harness. No need to do both.

Can anyone show me what the anc module looks like and what to unplug from device since I was only able to disconnect the rear mic but not the front mic. I can get into the Bose amp so it should be easy

I recently got a 2016 RDX AWD Advance, and noticed the sound system was lacking in bass. I followed the steps in the following thread to disable the ANC, and it definitely made an improvement:

https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-b...er-car-919478/

However, whenever the car is turned off and then on again, the setting resets and ANC gets re-enabled.

Anyone know how to disable this permanently, without having to mess with the mic or the module itself? Thanks.
