Why do you want to disable ANC? When I cover the front mic with my finger there is a very noticeable hum that I assume is road noise and that the ANC system was developed to cover. If something has happened to cause a burp or 50 hertz hum why is it not possible to address that issue? Too expensive? I already think the car is too loud on the road. Doesn't disabling the ANC system just make it that much louder?
ok I tried looking everywhere online to see which plug it is or harness and cant seem to find it I know how the bose amp looks cause I tapped into it for the aftermarket amp and remember a couple plugs I just don't want to disconnect the wrong one. does anyone have a picture or something more specific also whats with the whole disconnecting the mics?
Can anyone show me what the anc module looks like and what to unplug from device since I was only able to disconnect the rear mic but not the front mic. I can get into the Bose amp so it should be easy
I recently got a 2016 RDX AWD Advance, and noticed the sound system was lacking in bass. I followed the steps in the following thread to disable the ANC, and it definitely made an improvement:

However, whenever the car is turned off and then on again, the setting resets and ANC gets re-enabled.
Anyone know how to disable this permanently, without having to mess with the mic or the module itself? Thanks.

NHBRL, try it and see if it sticks. If it does, this is definitely the easiest route to go. Mine always said, "ANC ON" when I started the car.
