I-027: Aftermarket amp

I just installed an aftermarket amp in my 05 RL and the noise canceling system picks up engine noise and amplifies it thru the sub. Has anyone else out there had this problem? please help

i think there are a few who did this and the only way around it is to disconnect the front and rear mics so the noise cant be picked up

All you have to do is search a little and read. Here is a hint, behind the right side trunk carpet is the noise cancelling module... unplug that bish! Voila! your good to go. I have a complete system installed ran off a MTX RE-Q5.

no, it does not share. its a separate mic, and is the noise canceling mic.
