generally that happens when there isn't enough power to a headlight. Also...that usually happens with aftermarket HIDs not with the stock low beams.
If you're still under warranty check with the dealer.

This is happening with me as well. My passenger side will flicker then go out. Sometimes both headlights go out. Turn off then on again and they both come on. Seems like this had affected several RL owners. Do a search on "headlight flicker" and you will get alot of information. I myself have been researching how to remove the front bumper to easily access the headlights so I can switch the bulbs to see if the problem follows the bulb.
If the 05-08 light setup is anything like the 09, bumper removal isn't necessary to get to the HID bulbs.
I also have been contemplating a 50 watt low beam conversion.
For that you need:
1. aftermarket ballast
2. aftermarket bulb
3. aftermarket D2S to aftermarket bulb plug
4. Wiring Harness for aftermarket ballast
Total cost? $70-$80 for 35w and around $100 for 50w
Cheaper than going to Acura to replace OEM HIDs

true
My brother found a guy that works for some big parts import company and told my brother he can get me the exact same fujitsubo ballast for like 70 brand new ! and the bulbs I want cheaper. Ill find the name of the place if you want to check into that and they also have all kinds of aftermarket stuff not for RL though

OEM ballasts are expensive and it will be triple if you pay someone to swap em as they are very hard to get to.
but I get to the lights by simply removing 3 plastic pieces on top, removing 1 screw from the left where the washer fluid is held, and that is a comportable enough point to reach the cap that says "Caution, 25,000 volts". Did we lose anyone here?
After twisting that cap to the left, there is a small plastic power plug, twist that left.
Beyond that is a metal clamp with holes, push down on each side gently and move it to the side to release.
Then twist bulb gently left and the left side is done.
Right side, not sure how tight it will get with the stock airbox, but I know that with an intake it's not too horrible.
Hand goes right, look for the round cap, twist left. Find the small plastic power cord (it's attached from the inside, can't lose it). After that, you get to the metal bracket, put finger in hole, push and pull to the side, repeat on 2nd side.
Twist the bulb left, pull it out.
I've done this a dozen times playing with different light configs, my mechanic took about an hour doing this the first time, I think I can do both in 5 minutes now.
Take it slow or you will scrape your hands till they bleed.
oh yeah...don't stick your hand in there right after you turned those bulbs off, you will burn your skin off.
