HF link stuck, no audio
HF link stuck, no audio
Hello all.
I just purchased an '06 RL with 60,000 miles - everything was working fine until yesterday. Started car and my CD didn't come on, so I hit the CD button and looked at the display, it said HF LINK. No amount of pushing buttons would give me access to audio. I searched the threads here and tried disconnecting battery - no help. After disconnecting I have been unable to access the audio controls - just a beep when I press the button - the screen stays on NAV.
So I set up the HF and it works well with my phone, but is still possessing the system.
Can anyone help?

There is a diagnostic mode you can get to by pressing power + 1 + 6 all at the same time when the radio is off. I'm not sure what each numbered button does after that, but pressing them may help the radio get out of the state it is in. I know #1 does ANC on/off and another one checks the amp. It may be worth searching "diagnostic". Good luck!
