Help! What plug is this? '10 radio

Hey Guys,

I bought a 2010 radio and climate control. I got it primarily for the climate control's extra buttons, but the radio was a nice perk. It's got some nice new features and it looks like it's a direct swap. Will it work? I'll find out this weekend.

There is an extra plug at the bottom which I'm sure my 05 does not have. Anybody know what it is?

Looking to identify the white plug at the bottom (see next photo)

looks like 6 pins. I've never seen that harness

Thanks in advance!

I highly doubt the radio is plug and play. The 2005-2008 uses a 32 pin harness from the DVD drive and the MMC uses a 20 pin. I can't imagine why they would change one side and not the other.

The climate control is plug and play.

Giving your question a shot, they changed the ANC system in the MMC pretty thoroughly. My guess is that it has to do with that. Purely a guess thoigh.

Very possible. The aux port didn't show up on the RL until 2007.

So are we able to upgrade to a 2007+ system and add aux to our cars if we get the appropriate harness? I need to replace mine anyway and I figured might as well get aux while i'm at it

Should be able to. Look up the part number for a tech package since the base didnt have aux.
