FM Radio Question

I have an 05 RL and have noticed several times in the past couple of weeks that when I press the AM/FM radio button, the AM stations will appear. As you know, when you press that button, the FM pre-select stations (either FM1 or FM2) are to appear. I then pressed the button again to get the FM stations, and when i pressed button 1 for the 1st pre-selected station, all I got was static. Same for the other stations as well. It's like the antenna is disconnected.

A couple of hours later when i got back in the car, everything was fine.

Anyone else have this problem, and know how to fix it?

Thanks

Larry

Are you using two different remotes that have different presets?

Remote = fob. The car will save presets for each fob.

(Fob = key-less remote )

When you say all you get is static, are you sure it was on a good station. Also, did you happen to be under any sort of concrete or metal structure? When was the last time you replaced the battery?
