unplug the battery
or you could tell the dealer that it does not want to stay connected and are using a 100% compatible phone, it gives static and does not understand you, saying 888 instead of the numbers given. This way you get a new clean unit.

You can also delete HFL entries one at a time. Press the button, say "Phonebook", then press and say "delete" then say the name that you want to to delete. "List" will return the list of names if you don't know them all.
This is all listed clearly in the manual in the HFL section.

Press the HFL button, and say "System". The HFL should respond with "System options are Setup and Clear". If you press the HFL button again and say "Clear" it will clear all phonebook entries, paired phones, and the passcode if set. You will obviously need to re-pair your phone after this.

I'm pretty sure it's in the hard-copy manual as well.

i triple checked my hardbound manual which came with RL, and this information seems to be non-existent. I guess there has been a revision of the hard-copy manual?
