Calendar/Messages not available
Hello all,
I have an '05 RL and ever since power was lost I have not been able to access the Calendar or Messages. They appear greyed out. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Everything else seems to be working normally.

I have the same problem on my 07 MDX. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
This happens when your remotes become UNLINKED to your car.
When you turn the ignition on, the MID should say, Welcome Driver 1 or Welcome Driver 2 depending on which remote you unlocked the car with. If it only says Welcome (with no Driver number after it), it means the car doesn't know which Driver profile to put itself in. By default, there is a 3rd, unlinked profile, but this profile doesn't allow you to save settings in the NAV so the calendar and messages and calculator I think are grayed out.
That's your problem. Try it out and let us know!
By the way, if you don't know how to link/unlink your remote, read the instructions on the back of the remote. Not sure about the MDX, but on the RL, a double blink indicates linked. Long single blink means unlinked.
