Backup camera brightness

I thought I read somewhere that the backup camera brightness/contrast can be adjusted. Mine seems to dim but I can't find out where to change it

Any suggestions?

it adjusts by turning the wheel behind the multi controller knob: it doesn't make a huge difference, but it's worth a try.

B/U Camera Adjustment

Go into the setup screen and then adjust the contrast, brightness or black level
to your satisfaction. Tip: You can adjust the screen while in B/U mode after selecting one of the above options, just keep your foot on the brake while rotating the control knob.

Thanks John. That's exactly what I was looking for. For everyone's benefit, I wasn't talking about changing the screen brightness. I think that's what Photonbeam thought I meant. I was referring to increasing the gain on the ccd camera. John is correct, while the camera is displaying it's image, spin the control dial on the console to the right to increase gain and to the left to decrease it.

By the way John, it made a large difference for me. Mine was set all the way to the lowest setting. That explains why it was so hard to see on bright sunny days.

Thanks again for the assistance

Oops, just read the second half of Photo's suggestion and he also had the same advice about the camera gain

Just wanted to give credit where credit was due.

Thanks to both for the help
