Anyone Done a FRONT Camera?
Since I really have no interest in using the second video input for like iPhone or DVD video that a lot of the aftermarket camera-addon navscreen setups let you do, and I recently had some passenger time in an Audi Q5 that has a front camera and realized it can be pretty handy, I was wondering if anyone has done a front camera on the RL? I find the RL is a tricky beast to gauge where the front bumper is - not to mention the lower bumper is easy to crunch against curbs, etc - so I thought this might be worth exploring as the second video source if I decide to get a backup camera setup.

i'm sure if you already have an extra video port, all u need to do is get a camera and toggle switch... they r pretty affordable now a day.... u'll also need to find a place to mount them....

It's a great idea, IMHO. Keep us updated on the progress you make.

Yeah I was wondering if anyone has done it as finding a good discrete place to mount the camera that still gives the right perspective and view for the front might be tricky. Luckily there is no front plate requirement here so I don't have that ugly setup to deal with LOL

The new RLs come with sensors in the front. I haven't heard of any one doing a camera, but then again, I have only been here 9 months.
