Anyone backup the NAV disc?

Did anyone ever try to make a backup copy of the NAV disc? My buddy's nav disc was stolen when he gave the car for tinting, therefore want to know. I know its a dual layer disk so you would need the DL reader+ burner to do the job. I am getting my 2nd DL drive next week, so will try.

Every DVD drive can READ dual-layer (8.5GB) discs.

However, you do need a DVD-DL burner (which can oftentimes be recognized as a "DVD-RAM" drive by Windows) and obviously the +/- DL discs to burn at 8.5GB.

Got a backup, works great. Made with Toast Titanium, Mac G5 tower, DL burner, full disk image burned and worked first time. My factory disk is stored away for safekeeping.
