I love my '05 RL but recently the front passenger window will not go down from the driver side control and now my alarm will not activate? When I try to arm via door handle or remote, the car locks but no activation. If I press the panic button on the remote, the alarm will sound but I cannot get it to activate. Any ideas or am I just delaying a trip to the dealer?

 

I had the same issue with the passenger window not working from driver control. The guy at dealer ship showed me how to reset it. From the passenger side control (which is working) move the window down by pressing the control down and hold the control down for 10 seconds. Then move the window up and keep holding the control up for 10 seconds. You will be able to now use the control from driver side.

I sometime still get the issue back so I have to reset this again. I dont know what is a permanent fix.

I did not have any issues with alarm.
