Is there a way to adjust the mic used for navigation and HFL?

 

There is a function to calibrate the overhead microphone. It is intended for Techs to use, but if you wish to try:

Press CANCEL + MAP + MENU buttons on the center stak simultaneously and hold them until....

A NAVI System Diagnostics menu is returned.

Select the FUNCTIONAL SETUP option from that menu.

Select MICROPHONE SETUP option.

Calibrate the microphone by pressing the voice command buttons depicted on the screen and speak as you wish to be recognized. You will see the volume level calibrating on the meter image of the screen.

RETURN out of the screens until you return to your map screen.

Be careful not to mess with other settings, again this is intented for Acura Techs to adjust.

 

Thanks for the response. I would like to be able to use the hands free but everyone says they can't hear me very well...

I had seen this post or a post instructing how to set the mic, so I asked my dealer to adjust my mic up, becuase people are always telling me I sound far away.. When I got back the service advisor showed me how she adjusted it by increasing the HFL volume.. I didn't feel like going into it then, because it was after work and I was picking up the car, but suffice it to say I am going to adjust it myself and see what happens..
